The large photo's are not a problem for the iPhone. The larger files will take a little longer to download over EDGE, but it's not that slow.

Water drops seem to be popular here, so here is mine. This was taken using a 50mm f/1.8 @f/22 and bellows extended to about 8 inches with an SB-600mm off camera.

Here's one of my city a month ago. It's all brown now (well, brown and white after we got some snow this weekend).

    Good night, all.

Nice to see you're back and still making inane comments, Niko. ;-)
BTW, haven't we had enough member photos posted for you to leave the shadows yet?

Our fall here in Red Deer, did not go that well, dry, then wet, then frost to early and leaves just went grey

One more post, this was actually an injured owl shot true a wire mesh at a local Bird Sanctuary

    DSC_4394

Neat how a shallow DOF can hide the wire mesh between me and the owl

Pete - I never would have guessed that there was wire mesh between you and the owl. Thanks for the DOF tip! This is what I love about this forum.

    Those are all spectacular, Phil.
Nice owl, Pete. You could give the birders a run for their money.
Awesome spiders, shutterdancer. I could creep out my wife with those...but I won't.

Shutterdancer- Those are awesome....I've tried to shoot spiders before, but never with results like that!

AK- That is so amazing. Beautiful!

Gentoo- She looks like a cyclops. Hahaha

Thanks Jon, you know I am really not into taking bird pictures, but I like this picture, how you can shoot right true the mesh and the poor owl had a broken wing, actually at the same place they have close to 20 eagles, incl Bald eagles all with broken wings, I think they hit power lines

I get the feeling I'm being watched when I look at that, Aprille. Nice contrast and composition.

Yeah, I sometimes go mess around at the zoo here in Salt Lake, Pete. I rarely get anything good, though, since I'm doing damage control for my four-year-old at the same time.

This is from my sister's wedding earlier this year (and, if you're wondering, the mother of the bride wasn't bad to work with ;-).

    edit: fixed the link.
