Guys if You post images from flick please use the medium size not large. If some of us will like to see the photo in other size she/he will click on the link and enlarge it. BTW: I really think that 800 shiuld be the max width of posted photos.

Gentoo,I have been having a really hard time trying to post pics lately ;>).....just set up a flickr account and uploaded a few from the summer...if it works,it works...if it doesn't then I should just be glad that I still have enough brain power left to operate a camera :

Well, for now I guess we'll continue posting until there are too many rules to make it fun anymore. Better take advantage of it now. On that note:

Thanks Regulator. The leaves were actually a dull yellow. Seemed too bland for this time of year for my taste! Had to go with something high contrast and bold. :)

Always a pleasure looking at your incredible photography :)

No worries, I was being my usual sarcastic self. The image is really nice either way. I'm always enthralled by detail in good macro photography. You should get a free photobucket account. It gives you the code needed to paste here. All you have to do is copy and paste it. It gives you four codes, one is a BB [img] code you can use if you're on any other forums. This one does not allow BB code for some strange reason.

I enjoyed those macro shots also, shutterdancer. Did you use the 105mm 2.8?

Shutterdancer check you flickr mail. I'll help you with your problem there. Gentoo flickr gives you an HTML code to copy paste as well.

Gentoo..I was using Photobucket when I posted the cardinal photo, after that the image code didn't work anymore.

PBrigido....Thanks, I was using a 70-300 vr with Canon 500D achromatic diopter on some and a Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro on others.

Niko..Thanks for your help on Flickr.

it looks like after the forum update photo posting is not working

admin - once I try to edit/post a link to photos it gets deleted - the whole "img src='' " gets deleted

regulator75 - once the forum will work I'll fix Your photo, was trying to replace the large image with a medium one

I think I posted this somewhere else a while back, but it should have gone in the Photo-a-day. This is from my favorite dive in Austin.

Is that B/W in-camera or in-post, willis? I've never played much with digital B/W - but you have a nice tonal range there.

And adamz, and was that grain intentional or a result of increasing contrast in-post? Either way it works.

EDIT: Should have asked "or something else I'm missing".

soap - the grain was rather unintentional, but it's not due to high iso, as this shot was taken at iso 800, but to heavy rainfall, it was raining like catz-n-dogs that day
