Who should replace Ashton Kutcher as Nikon spokesmodel? KR?! LOL :^)

Seriously though. Who would you like to see as a Nikon spokesmodel? Other brands have "better" models. Leica kind of has Seal and me, I mean Brad Pitt, as unofficial spokesmodels. Seal even got a "free" Leica S2 during the NYC unveiling!

And canon had that crystal meth junkie guy, what was his name oh yeah Andre Agassi, hitting his balls in front of the camera for a looooong time. I hope Nikon gets rid of Ashton real soon but they probably won't since the COOLPIX line and D90/D5000 have sold very well with "Kelso".

A local camera shop in my area changed their sign this week to say "Come get the Ashton Kutcher Nikon S60." I lol'd when I saw it.

I think we should have Megan Fox as Nikon's new spokes person, they could properly have some cool transforming Nikon Cameras for her to play with.

You know with that Nikon Cell Phone thing, but bond could be also using a Nikon D3/4 with something weapon like build into it. It does not have to be real, neither is the modified bond cars, but they draw attention to the car brand, right. Then TV/Magazine Nikon adds could build on the Nikon involvement in the movie

I still think Meagan Fox using a D3s camera that has just transformed could do well

You guys read my mind. I too thought about Daniel Craig (James Bond) as a Nikon spokesmodel. I think the whole Nikon James Bond movie connection would be awesome! What if Nikon uses the next Bond film to showcase a new digital rangefinder?! That would tie in to the whole "Bond Image" thing.

I'm not sure about the Nikon cell phone though. I think Sony Ericsson has a deal to feature their cell phones in Bond movies. Not sure if that deal is over with so maybe.

As for Meagan Fox she could be the next Bond Girl? However she's got very weird thumbs and they wouldn't look good holding a Nikon mobile phone or digital SP :^( Besides remember that whole "Stunning Nikon" campaign with super model Kate Moss? That got replaced real quick by Kelso's ads. :^(

What about James Franco? Spiderman's best friend/enemy in the Spidey movies. He's got that whole James Dean image thing. Or what about that new terminator guy Sam Worthington? He's got the whole rugged adventurer/action guy sort of thing. He'd also make a "cheaper" James Bond version.

I'm interested to hear what the ladies of the forum think?

I don't particularly like Kutcher as the Nikon spoksemodel, but I happen to think that his taste in women is impeccable. Maybe the job should go to Demi.

The problem with Kutcher is he does not relate to anything exiting, we need a spokesperson that relates to something exiting, also a person you could picture using a camera. And Nikon could make a great appearance in a Bond movie and then Daniel Craig would be the person we all are seeing using that new Nikon SP Dig camera shooting a picture of this hot actress and the picture is send somewhere by Wifi (that next commen Nikon feature)

Then we all want to have that camera to be like him, right

When I think of Ashton Kutcher I think of the character in the movie trailer I posted above. Not exactly the kind of image I want my products to be associated with. But the cameras featuring him have sold very well so it's really all about name recognition more than anything else.

I do like that Nikon only uses "Kelso" for the consumer stuff although the D300S and D700 get mentioned at the end of his ads. Imagine him trying to use/sell a D3S? Here's Kelso selling the D90. I think this commercial is what made Gentoo want to buy his.
