Hi, I'm Dave. Chronic techie and amateur photographer since forever. Started doing B&W with my Dad in about 1963 using a Nikon SP. Since then it's been Pentax, Minolta, Nikon, Mamiya (still), and back to Nikon for the digital age. Hope to learn a little and add a little here.

Hi all, my name is Sean, I am based about an hour and a half's drive inland from Barcelona.
I didn't start out wanting to be a photographer, but just as a bit time hobby whilst I was at college, but now with what I do, photography is starting to pull in to the day to day working more than ever.
I've been a Nikon abuser for the last seven years since one of my friends passed me his D1 and muttered the famous last words of "I bet you cannot take a photo with that..." and going over to digital with the D200.
hi all.
im fazli ,from malaysia.
Hello Fazli, welcome to the forum. This was one of the very first threads here on Nikonrumors. Thanks for reviving it!
haha, I see i've joined just in time for this threads revival, excellent.
My name is Sumner Lambert and I'm a college student at Boston University. I study psychology and am thinking about making the switch from canon to nikon currently. I mainly shoot with my rebel xti (which was a gift) and my nikormatt ftn.
some of my photos can be seen here, although school keeps me pretty busy so I don't update often.

Welcome aboard.
Hello
My name actually is Kyoshi. I hail from the Los Angeles Area where I enjoy long walks on the...(oh never mind!). I have been doing photography 7-8ish years and switched to Nikon last summer... and I'm never turning back. Although I will shoot with anything my friends will lend me, my current Cameras are the D90 and D80 (waiting till Pma to get the D700 and/or replacement). As for lenses my favorite in the bag is probably the 80-200mm f/2.8, I hate kit lenses and do not shoot with them. I spend the little freetime I have making miniature paper nikons and doing non professional photography, art, and model railroading... Site is cameraimprov.com
I never really introduced myself here so, I guess I could do that that.
My Name is Rob, I'm from the Greater Vancouver area of British Columbia Canada. I've been shooting since I got my first camera, a throw away 35mm film point and shoot at the age of 9 or 10 (about 15 years ago). I got interested in photography at a young age since my Dad had a Nikon FE film SLR, which I still used a few times a year until recently.
Now I shoot with a Nikon D300, and an Olympus E-410, digitally. As I noted I sometimes shoot film with the Nikon FE, and I may shoot a little more film now that I am going to pickup a used F90X. It will be nice to have an AF film camera, because many of the photos I take are of wildlife. My favorite lens, that I own, is the Nikon 300mm F-4 AF-S.

Welcome Tyler. You've got some nice photos there.
Hello, all.
My name is John and I live in the north-east of England. I'm a retired IT Consultant.
I first became seriously interested in photography in the late 1960s, although my enthusiasm has waxed and waned rather a lot over the years. My cameras have been mostly Canon and Minolta, but I became the proud owner of a D90 two months ago.
I've never found the time to maintain a gallery, but I did quickly pull together some photos a couple of years ago at http://www.anaxagoras.co.uk
Great pictures, John and Tyler. I bookmarked your site, Tyler. It looks like it's got some great stuff there.
My name is Jon Paul and I'm a grad student in physics at the University of Utah (ph.d. this summer barring a car accident, train wreck, etc.).
