Hi,

Just wondering if Nikon will finally come up with a new version of the AFS 300/f4 in a few months. Looking at the times the 70(80)-200-f/2.8 and 300/f2.8's have been replaced, it's about time.

I totally agree! I've waiting for some time now on that update. I heard several rumors that people are testing Nikon lenses in the field.. no word on 300 f4 VR though. I don't think I want to wait for PMA. Any guesses on price anyone?
