I was wondering if anyone has used a Eye-Fi card with a CF adapter in their Nikon...or even if it can work in the first place.

Any current DSLR should be compatible ...Posted 3 years ago # -
hm...I didn't see Eye-Fi listed under DSLRs with only a CF slot. I wonder if it would work...

No it would not work on all CF models ... it works on D5000, D90, D700 and D3 (CF only) etc

That's a shame. :( Did you include the D700 by mistake? It is CF only.

Color me totally confused by that list of models. (50% SD / 50% CF)

I think the question is can you use an Eye-Fi card, which is an SD memory card only, in an SD to CF memory card adapter? And can you then use that SD/CF card adapter in an CF only camera? Correct? I'm thinking no. In order to get the wi-fi capabilities you need to have an SDHC slot in your camera, but I have yet to use an Eye-Fi card so I'm not sure.

Why HC? Don't they sell a 2GB Eye-Fi? HC!=IO (which isn't needed either).
I would _expect_ any CF adapter which works with other SD cards to work, as the Eye-Fi card is not dependent on the camera in any way.My question was why the odd ball list of cameras in the last post before mine, though.

Oops I was reading the specs for a 4GB video eye-fi card. I think I answered your question why the list of SD and CF cameras. But I'm not the original poster so I can't say for sure that's what PBrigido was asking?

Yup, that is my question Niko. I would love to toss a Eye-Fi in a CF adapter and toss it in my D700...but I'm just not sure if the Eye-Fi would work under that method.
