I got an e-mail this week from NIK software announcing Viveza 2. They've added global adjustments (meh... that's what lightroom is for), and a slider for structure (Heck Yeah!). If you've used Silver Efex Pro, then you know all about the structure slider.
You guys should go check it out. It won't be available until Christmas time, but its got me jazzed.
I just got the Nik Complete: I hope that they will allow me to upgrade Viveza to Viveza 2 at N/C

LOL, man Pete let me know when you buy a D700 so I'll know the D800 is a week away from being announced :^)
Niko: I was given the "NIK Complete Collection: Dffine 2.0, Viveza, Color Efex Pro 3.0, Silver Efex Pro and Sharpener Pro 3.0" at work and planned to use with LR 2
Anyway on their site they mentioned that purchaser of Nik Viveza after Sept 1 will be able to upgrade to 2 for free. I have not installed and activated my Nik yet, so maybe they will let me update, I know that I technical did not purchase it but we will see
And I will get the D700 next week, no no it will have to be first week in December, on second thought December is kind bad luck for camera purchases that's when I bought a Canon 40D a couple years ago, So January 10 (01.10.10) is kind of an interesting date ;>)

Yes give and take a few days, but then again 10.10.10 looks kind of neat also, something have to announced that day. let me see I was as you know hoping to get that D3s some day

Well Leica and canon made announcements on or near 090909 so I think it's a safe bet Nikon or Apple or shoot even Polaroid will announce something on 101010. D400/D800/D4 all in one day maybe?
You know Niko: Jokes aside that would be some wild Nikon announcement and actually if Nikon were to release a D700s in the near future then that day would be ripe for just that kind of body upgrades
