Hi Willie post some pictures from Deep Eddy Cabaret, it looks like a place that would look cool and would be fun to take pictures of, not with your Iphone but try to really capture the feel of the place, maybe in B&W

LOL Yes Willis, but I watch those shows because I have to, I mean want to.
Basically the pitch for "America's Next Forum Moderator" goes like this.All of us spend 6 weeks at Nikon's Sendai factory where we compete at a chance to win $150,000USD in cash, $50,000USD worth of lenses, a new D800 and Digital Rangefinder and a new 2011 Mitsubishi Evo sports car.
We do everyday task at the factory with crazy challenges like trying to chase and photograph paper airplanes around Croatia dressed as pirates and challenge Ashton Kutcher to a twitter popularity contest.

You would be a favorite to win Niko: But I would add a few things to the Photo challenge
Take picture in a London Subway without getting arrested
Take pictures of models without getting caught for editing their picture
Get a picture of Ashton's wife when he is busy twittering (without getting arrested or caught editing)
Try to take a 100 (at full power) flash picture with the SB 900
Anyway maybe Admin should just let us know what he thinks would be best, right

Sorry Adamz for going of thread: maybe that shows that we need a more concrete posting rules, which I have been part of breaking as well as the next guy
About minors: I have checked on other sites that I have been on and nowhere have I seen rules for age of poster
As for Alpha being a Minor so be it, but I don't think we, and neither does any other Forum, should show any special consideration for minors that want to be part of this forum. The Posting Rules should clearly state was is OK or NOT. Sorry Alpha but if and when rules are listed then you decide if they are acceptable for youPete

I am with Pete on this. I have no problems with minors in these forums, as I believe photography is for all people, not just those over 18. Alpha has been a good contributor, why shut him out, however rules are rules, they apply to all people regardless of age.

Totally agree with Pete on the minor part.
Now imagine a bunch of crazy people with Nikons around their necks invading pabnj's house, not to mention what would be happening later that evening as id get drunk enough to start posing as a model.

Actually i am a true Viking, or at least from one of the viking countries, so don't tempt me, the thought about doing so has crossed my mind.

Tho mine is highly effective when it comes to running around bend over trying to hurt people, id say yours is one id rather have hehe.

Hey bmxdad dpreview doesn't allow anyone under the age of 18 to join the forum. When you sign up for a user name it says something like "you here by acknowledge that you are over the age of 18 and have read the rules" Or something like that. I think you can get banned if you falsely join :^(
