I don't think I can live up to an intro like that.
It does seem like false advertising to me. Report it to Google. Maybe they (meaning Google) will pay the difference.

NIKo...cant figure out y camera consumers like u dont stick together, camera tech is the only tech that doesnt get cheaper, like vcr's, dvd's, blue ray player's ,plasma, lcd t.v.'s etc, ect, & when a good deal comes along the advertiser should honor it's price...... B&H included...y do you need to defend an establishement that wont honor their own ad

gotta be honest w/u guys...this isnt a new issue...the Director of corporate communication @ B&H (Henry Posner) has been informed of this problem for over a month, the 1st place i saw the ad was Ken Rockwells' site. Ken even tried to get B&H to honor it for me....THEY DIDNT...i ended up buying the kit frm abes of maine, saved money by not paying tax. Abes is in con, I am in NY....ask henry....I have been in contact w/ henry constantly thru twitter...claims it's not his problem....this frm the director of corporate communication @ B&H.....YEAH B&H is agreat company like my spare tire aroung my gut is good for my health

Put the sage in the dressing when you stuff the turkey. Way to trash. BTW, you are required to declare out of state purchases to the State of New York, so you can pay the sales tax with your state income tax return, or do you plan on cheating NY? Speaking of honesty!

for me the quick summary of this topic is:
- Niko wanted to help and YOU terry067 didn't even thanked him for that, instead You start yelling - this kind of behavior will not be tolerable here

(not tolerable) I would also like to question your statement about it only being a $20 difference, are you saying it's alright to decieve customers as long as it's $20 or less, or are you saying that it's o.k to decieve customers as long as it's B&H. You, as with alot of this forum are confused. Pbrigido... Deceptive advertising is agaisnt the law, it's not about moving on, if this were a non issue, you & other members would not chime in.I work hard for my money, I love photography. Photography is REALLY, REALLY, expensive. B&H has taken my money, as well ( i am sure ) as yours. They have a responsibilty to ALL of us !!! Just because you like them, or work there does not mean that B&H should not be held accountable. This is not my only incident w/them, this is my only incident that i have shared. I wont get into the time (i guess i am though) where after my wife wrote down my model camera, (nikon d700)she went to B&H to buy me a lens for an anniversary present...they sold her a 10.5mm 2.8 DX Lens... Yes a DX lens, for a full frame camera, that was funny... being decietful is not

I am sorry that terry067, having received no satisfaction when repeatedly posting this in Twitter, has decided to try the same unpleasantness here. The ad in question, as @soap was kind enough to note, is a google adsense ad. We've asked them to fix this and they have not. Terry067's contention this is our fault and we're somehow blameworthy is without merit. We're selling the D40 + 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II AF-S DX lens kit for 469.95.
I'm also curious at Terry067's purpose in posting this here now when he's posted elsewhere he's already purchased the camera he wants from another retailer.

hernyp...other members of this forum have seen this advertisement that i speak of, including Ken Rockwell. You state that you have asked google to correct this problem if anyone would like this e-mail (frm Ken) fowarded to them i would be glad to oblige it it not a figment of my imagination. You speak of being curious as to my purpose, it is simple & i dont know how to make it any clearer. B&H is not honoring thier ad. B&H takes no responsibility for the own ad. B&H is not in the same class as Adorama, Amazon, or Abes of maine. B&H should be associated more w/Beach camera, & Broadway Photo.

adamz, my grammar is horrible, & english IS my mother tongue, i was kidding w/you. But the fact that you want to close this thread, is sort of sensoring people frm being informed...isnt that why people come here & to the good ol USA....calling someone a sage is a complement, a jester is not as cool but, not something that would be sensored frm a kids show....I guess If you dont want the truth being told ....you must GAG it! As a photo enthusiast i felt that people should know B&H as passing the buck....maybe i was wrong & people like doing business w/unethical businesses

This forum is not yours, it is not public space in the proper use of that term. You have no right to squat on someone else's property and demand anything.

In truth, grateful as I am for your kind words about me and about Adorama, Terry,I do think that B&H is an excellent store. When it comes to photography-related matters, Henry is far more knowledgable and experienced than I am, so I guess we'll all stay where we are!

Personally, I am just glad that we have as many great options to consider when it comes down to where you purchase camera equipment from...this includes both B&H and Adorama.
