In Jonny's backyard also, I love Utah, have been close to Midway when driving to Moab. It is amassing of how different Utah can be form one area to another, you guys living in Utah are certainly blessed with some of the best photographic locations in the world

...after travelling for so many hours to Oz, I just cannot imagine takin you to a city street to shoot the locals ...maybe you could just sleep off the jet lag on a park bench, I could get you a bottle of metho ...and I could photograph you.

The SF Bay Area has a lot of possibilities. SF is a great city for street shooting, start at the Ferry Building and walk along the Embarcadero, then try some of the other neighborhoods, the Mission, Cow Hollow and Union Street, Union Square, Coit Tower, you could spend days. The San Mateo coast and state parks are wonderful - Ano Nueva for elephant seals, sand dunes and a beautiful coast, Butano State Park for a beautiful woodland hike through varied terrain. From spring to fall the Filoli Gardens in Woodside are splendid. I've lived here for over 40 years and will never exhaust what's available. Days trips take you up and down the coast, the Sierra foothill and Gold Country, Lassen Volcanic National Monument, Mendocino, Point Reyes and Carmel.

The right time of year, a long lens and you can shoot surfing's Maverick competition, or birds almost everywhere.

Add good food and reasonable weather and I'm not moving!

It depends on where you catch me. Most of the time, I'm in San Diego. However, if you visit the San Francisco Bay Area, at times I'm there, such as next week. Then every once in a while I may be in Seattle.

If in San Diego again I would have to visit the Chula Vista BMX training facility and that would have to be timed with a national race or national team training event. I also like old buildings, churches etc

I'll keep that in mind bmx. For old buildings, churches and architecture in general, again the SF Bay Area wins hands down. The Bay Area is a photographers paradise. whether it's street, architecture, wildlife or landscapes, as ted said, you can go for ever and not see or photograph the same things. I'm going to be up there for a week coming up and won't be able to get to everyplace I want.

I didn't realize how dangerous the Photographic world really is, NYC would be tempting, but who wants to see the Manhattan Bridge with your feet in a block of concrete, then maybe I could just hang out with the Australian locals that calls park benches their home. Either way I properly won't have many pictures to share, unless the invitee wants to help out with that

Maybe I should just visit Skid
