Kuala Lumpur at night. Take a look at full resolution on Flickr.

Love the light and the colors. Amazing dynamic range without blowing out any highlights. Really nice.
where there’s smoke there’s forum fire
First I thought I crop out the sticker on that post, then somehow it made the picture unique. I will have to check whether Harold got re-elected :) At least he has proven results - whatever they might be.
Benji, thank you. I was messing with filters, a blue and gold in combination with a 4 stop neutral density (to help with slowing the shutter speed).
The sticker makes the photo I think. I have had a few times where there was something bothering me in the viewfinder, then decided why not make that part of the composition, and then worked it in in a way to tell a story.

d3100 & Samyang 14mm 2.8, an old shot revisited. Edit: Flickr processing seems to be ruining it quite a bit :(
Wow, from skyscrapers to barns, from storks to osprey, from flowers to car wash girls. Great images.
We are mostly water, and some would say that water is not just essential to life, it is what gives us life. Water is scarce, particularly in my part of the country, so we celebrate it through art and imagery.

Going along with the landscape theme...here's my submission. Not an interesting sky, but I had little control over that. This shot was taken in Pike National Forest outside of Pine, Colorado (near Colorado Springs) at the start line of a 50k trail marathon.

Some very interesting shots in PAD. Well done!
msmoto - Are you traveling by horse?
Yettibuddha - Lovely watef shot
Benji - Horizon needs straightening
@Dlovett: Nice capture, the column in the back with the "lol" adds some spice to it :-)
Very nice colors Msmoto
To me butterflies are very difficult macro subject, always on the move. Very shallow depth on this one, but I like it somehow.

I would like to comment on all of the above....this is a great forum. The "fourth world" of macro is very interesting...butterfly you say, Juergen? So fascinating...and I have tried some of this stuff and know just how difficult it is!
All of these have such great character...
Incredible photography everyone!!! Seems each month you all set the standard higher and higher, priceless!
Not trying to get wierd on all of you but this is my favorite shot so far this year. I have crowd motion going in 4 different directions plus two standing still. Didn't know I had caught this until I got home from the Hank Jr concert.
Also, I can't post this here because my buddy shoots a Canon but if you go to my Facebook you can see the ultimate in courage photograhy as JC went into the fires in Oklahoma at night this weekend capturing some incredible shots. The name on my Facebook is Bland Bridenstine.
