Been a bit slow here the last week so I don't have much to share. I did manage to get a couple of decent bug shots though.

D3s 300 f4 AFs w/TC14E strong backlight with overcast sky +1 adjustment dialed in. The last time I took eagle photos I blew out the white feathers but I really needed a +2 adjustment.

A quick none macro snap with the 85mm 1.8G, cropped & straightened. I had never actually realised that bluebottles were actually this blue.

@framer - great shot of the eagle, any chance of seeing it full size?

What a great month we just had on PAD. Lets keep the firing going this month as well. With that in mind, here is a dragon made by hand out of clay.

@ Postman, I think your focus on the fly is a touch off.

The Roosevelt Bridge in Stuart, Florida is probably one of the most photographed bridges in Florida. It provides a majestic view as the sun sets in the west. Over the next 2 or 3 days I will post more views of the bridge into the night. Enjoy.

Good ole Canon G11 - the export lost some detail in the shadows (grumble) but it is turning in to my B&W only camera. Still does a good job.

@SquamishPhoto, The mural is located on the west facing wall of the Soverign Hotel building in Portland, Or. The building was built in 1923 and acquired by the Oregon Historical Society in 1982. This mural depicting the Lewis and Clark Expedition, and the one on the south facing side depicting early Pioneer life, are 8 stories tall and were painted by Richard Hess in 1989. The work is just as impressive today as it was more than 20 years ago.

Found this old guy at the parking lot of a local wildlife refuge.
No body plastered with decals here, no drifting around curves, no spinning smoke-creating tires. Just a plain old classic body:
