I don't know if this has come up in the main blog, but just heard that the D4 & D800 are the first DSLR's to pass the 'European Broadcasting Union' (BBC) test. Full report here:

This combined with the D800 scoring the highest ever mark by DxOMark, I think qualifies us Nikon fans to wear a wry smile on our faces when we meet our other manufacturer equipped photographers, don't you think?
