I have a Nikon d40 + a nikon d3000 and i take photo's for a local football team sometimes under floodlights.I am thinking of buying a new lens and wondered if the Tamron A001 SP AF70-200mm F/2.8 Di LD (IF) Macro would be fully compatitble with my cameras and would it be better than my 70-300 tamron that i use now thanks Dave

It's very slow to AF from what I've experienced, but it does let in a lot more light.
It is fully compatible with your cameras.
For shooting sports, it's very difficult, the lens doesn't track well with a D60. (same AF as D40)Posted 9 months ago #
