I am! I stayed up for the D300S and D3000 announcements too!
Don't make me stay and clean up again though NikoDoby—it's Willis' turn! :^)

as of right now its bed time for me, its 8:26 pm and ive got work at 3:30 in the morning my time, so i intend to get tru the day knowing, that when i get home..... well you get the point. its going to be a very long day a work, and i reckon ill be there for 10 hours+ aswell :(.

I'm hoping for some updated mid range, plasticy consumer DX zooms & updated point & shoots :)
I'm still saving up for the new 70-200mm, so whatever Nikon releases, i won't be able to afford it until the next round of updates.

I've got an eye on the 70-200 ƒ/2.8 too, except the old version. With my $10 weekly allowance, I will have saved up for it by 2014. :^(
In the mean time, I think I'll get myself a 50 ƒ/1.8, as I'm in bad need of a AF portrait and lowlight lens.Posted 3 years ago # -
That's what you think alpha... by 2014, the dollar will be half of what its worth today... better to max out that credit card (or steal your parents) and get it now.

While I'm at it I think I'll get a D3X with the 600mm ƒ/4! ;^)
I'm hoping I can shoot family portraits to save quicker—I've already done it once (actually I donated my service to our school's silent auction) and I'm probably doing at least two more. That's why I need the 50mm ƒ/1.8.
Maybe if I'm lucky I'll win a photo competition or two, or my stock photos will sell well.
Otherwise you're probably right—best to go with the stolen card method!

For me it is easy, I am on the west coast of California. Most announcements in the past have been approximately 9:00 pm Pacific Time.
I am hoping for some new lens choices, but I hope that they are way less than $1,000.00 each.
There has not been any new rumors about a new speedlight that I am aware of. Could there be a surprise in this announcement?

When was the D3X announcement? I don't think I was a part of [NR] back then—this is only the second big event I've had the chance to participate in.
