Thanks, msmoto.
She's actually just a friend who's keen on getting her photo taken. You should see how many mosquito bites we got during the last two sessions, but I felt it was worth it. She only agreed after she saw the results. ;]
Great shot of your son boogie boarding. You've obviously lived quite the life having a more than one grown child. :]

Ok Since it is my 2,000th post - I hope no one minds if a take a small liberty and break the rules and show 1 image for each 1000 posts. Two examples why I love this D800 I got!

D800 - iso 100 - Tokina 300mm f 2.8 w/ Kenko 2x tele. 1/80th @ F8 - Over 100% crop. (LR doesn't tell me that part.
D800 - iso 250 - 70-300VR - handheld 1/250th @ F8Posted 9 months ago # -

@TTJ... this answers my question on another thread...really an amazing example of how an excellent photographer can get a lot out of superb equipment...thanks...
So, having nothing to put up photographically which I consider in the same class as the stuff up lately, a bit of humor... called Hatteras After the Splash. D4, Ewe Marine housing, 16-35mm f/4.0 VR.
The first four shots in the sequence are at http://www.flickr.com/photos/fantinesfotos/page2/
Oh, for the detectives..the sensor oil spot is present on some of these.... if you care to look. (About 25% of the distance from center to edge at 8:30).

I know, this is very low quality (taken with iPhone). But I had to share it...the subject being so appropriate.

Framer, excellent!! I have that faible for birds in flight. Thanks for sharing.
TTJ, amazing. Looking forward to post 10,000, with a D800 shot for every 1000 :-)Thanks everybody for the comments on the parrot.
This one was taken in the zoo in Kuala Lumpur. I have another one cropped in on the head only, to show all the details on the teeth. But then I liked this framing better.Jürgen

Hey guys, still in germany, but heres something from munich. Pretty severe distortion towards the top heh, but its an incamera hdr, so it no editing in that part.
