Another amazing day of PAD. I love seeing everyone's style.
I have been here for a few days, and I have only posted a few wildlife shots.
I also have a full Spectrum D200 that I take out to play once in awhile. Not sure how it will come out here because of the size restraints, But this is a 6 shot Pano stitched in ICE.. If it's too small click through to my flickr...

A bit of info on this one.... at the beach, Hatteras Island, called the Outer Banks off the North Carolina Coast. But, ambient temperature was about 86° F (30° C) and the humidity was 85%. Brought camera out of motorhome, waited about ten minutes for the lens to clear, and started shooting.... got off about five shots, and could see nothing but clouds in the viewfinder. So after attempting several other shots, gave up. Later in protected environment, with temperature stable I looked inside and everything was clear, yet the cloulds were still there. So, an hour of temp stabilization, and the sensor cleared as well. What I learned, set the camera in a hot car for thirty minutes and allow the sensor to warm up so as not to cause condensation once shooting begins. Later shots were without difficulty.

@msmoto: I have that issue every day when I am travelling in Asia. If you leave the lense on, you do not get any condensation inside.

Another shot from the 2012 Northwest Classic Motorcar RallyAnd there's that MG again :). Mine is the roadster, which I much prefer to the GT shape wise but the British summer, all 2 weeks of it, will be gone by the time it's on the road!
I had a mini just like that too, but I never drove it unfortunately due to multiple catastrophic oil leaks.

@Juergen...the high humidity even in the air-conditioned bus created the air inside the camera. And as I was using lenses from the 16-35mm to the 400mm, and some in-between, changing only in the controlled climate, I allowed about 10-15 minutes for the exterior to clear up. But once the shutter opened and the sensor was exposed to the air inside the camera, the sensor fogged up. I shot several after that thinking it was in the mirror, pentaprism, whatever, but no exposures. Later in the bus, I looked and no fog on the mirror or underside of pentaprism, yet no image recording. After about 15 minutes in the warm car, all was stable and it worked fine. Interestingly enough, I have not seen my latest oil spot on the sensor since this occurred. But this I will check.again with a sky shot.

My D4 is sometimes "sweating" on the outside, like a glass with a cold drink in it. It really produces drops of condensation. I just let the camera sit , dry the outside with a soft cloth and do not open it, meaning I do not change lenses, until the camera has aclimatized. I also do not touch the glass of the lens. Leaving the lens cap off, speeds up the process though.
That way I never get any condensation inside the camera. A very usual weather here in asia is 32 degress C and close to 100% humidity.
Funny, that your oil spot faded with the moisture :-)Jürgen

Bye-bye Louisiana, Hello San Diego, CA! I'm moving early next week and can't wait to start posting pics w/my D800 in southern California. I hope it's as nice there as I hear. Such a long, long distance from my home state.

Thanks Squamish...I am loving the 300 F4. I only wish I had gotten it sooner!
@bland...nice! Looks like you are getting the hang of the new setup.
Great shots all!
I have to say I was having trouble getting a decent shot of this thing. I was too lazy to get my flash, but I should have been shooting at a higher f-stop.

Geez you guys are good. @Postman - my jaw actually dropped. The colors and movement just keeps my eyes engaged... very nice.
Here's another one from Redskins training camp. Wide receiver Anthony Armstrong gets some air in a volleyball drill.

Ok so the other day I was north of San Diego, in a lovely city called Temecula, and I came across this old post office. Thought it was quite interesting...given its size.
