Greeting all! I have myself a two part dilema.
First: Over the past 6 months, I have been contemplating purchasing a D700, but with all of the rumors of the D700s and D700x, I have been putting my decision on the back burner. So, afterall, it would seem that the next gen D700 series are not going to come to fruition, would it be a good time to make an official upgrade? I have owned my current D200 for many years now, shortly after it was introduced. I have been also purchasing some FX lenses with the foresight that my upgrade would be coming soon.
Second: If now is a good time to upgrade, which lenses (if any) would you chose to upgrade to FX quality? Below are my lenses I currently own. Don't make fun, I do own only ONE Sigma lens.
24-70mm f/2.8G ED AF-S Nikkor Wide Angle Zoom Lens
105mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor Lens
50mm f/1.4G SIC SW Prime Nikkor Lens
12-24mm f/4G ED IF Autofocus DX Nikkor Wide Angle Zoom Lens
Sigma 50-500mm f/4-6.3 EX DG APO HSM Telephoto Zoom Lens
