Over the past couple of weeks, my D7000 has been acting up. I'll post some example images when I'm on my computer, but maybe someone can help me out just by my description.
Noticed that when taking pictures, the images are incredibly blown out and overexposed about 3/4 of the time, so I went into manual mode and set it at f/8, 1/500 and ISO 200. The same thing continued to happen. Images taken one right after another, with the same exact exif data, come out completely overexposed or normal - its a toss up.
My theory is that it's a problem with the shutter or aperture control arm, because the camera obviously thinks its taking the pictures with the same settings yet is yielding results that significantly disagree. Any advice or estimates on how much this will cost to fix?
