Don´t give a rat´s backside about production/sales figures (I´m not a shareholder anyway)
Don´t know yet if I should be excited about the 24-85 VR or not. Certainly could use that range in one lens, but.. we´ll see when the D600 comes out to play.
I certainly am not thrilled about the 18-300, because I doubt it will be good enough for my use. Superzooms never deliver what I´m looking for. Or so far they haven´t.
Could use the D400 and a 400mm 5.6 VR though. A 300mm f/4 VR would make me insanely happy.

you should change the title to 1 FX lens 1 DX lens released.
i'm not too excited about the 24-85, the extra DOF that has compared to the 24-70 is of not too much interest to me.

The 24-85mm will be nice for the D600, but I think I'll be keeping my 24-70mm f2.8.

Only one (24-85mm) was a FX lens....
And I'll also keep my 24-70 over it.

I love my 24-70 too! That on one camera and the 70-200 on another, and I've got most of my shooting in the bag. Shame they can't produce their camera's as fast as their lenses!!!
