Regulator and mcammer: love them blues.
What’s that Niko? Oversized deep sea fluorescent ameba your wife bought as a pet?
And by popular demand: Gold and blue.
@mb: around here we'd call that maize and blue
Beautiful shots guys. Gentoo, are you up off the floor yet? NikoDoby, what is that?
so many nice images !! its such a pleasure dropping by this thread...
I agree, awesome photos!
Here's the Cologne Cathedral from my visit to some relatives this summer. Unfortunately I couldn't back up any farther, and even like this there's that pesky (and odd) stone pillar in the way. Horizontal shots cut off either the top or bottom. I need a wider lens (this was with the kit lens at 18mm).
My photo is of our new lamp! Her excuse for buying it was so that I could take pictures of it, yeah right :^)
So I think it's my turn to buy some new photo gear ;^) It is a very interesting lamp though.
I like that the lamp is expensive enough that you can equate it to buying new photo gear :P.
Seriously, though, nice photo, and spiffy lamp.
Definitely not overly artistic but definitely not a common sight.

By the way NikoDoby, nice lamp.
I like your photo HUeMAN. It reminds me of a Godzilla movie :^) I hope you didn't find this battle under your bed or desk!
ShadeofBlue, she wouldn't tell me how much, but I think I can now justify a new D300S or D700 :^)
Mb, JMCS love the colors
I'm back from my trip to Lapland, unfortunately a storm that took place three days before we arrived, cleaned out most of the beauty, nevertheless the trip was magnificent.
There are quite a few nice pics posted here in those few days of October.
Here's one for you. I haven't made up my mind why I like this shot, but I think it might be because its a close approximation of the current state of my affairs:
I burped when I saw your picture Willis, a natural reaction to such a site I guess :^) Are you sticking your head in the bottle over "Significant Other" troubles?
Hey Monty11, I visited "Laplands" for my bachelor party too ;^) Seriously though, I'd hate to get lost in those woods at night! It's good to have you back.
Hey Willis, if you are having "Significant Other" troubles then you and I should go to "Laplands" Come on Willis, Monty's buying :^)
Very nice photo JMCS, I like it.
JMCS use this code and address, but put it all together in a single line in your post:

Warm and cold:
Good to have you back monty, we sure missed you and your distinctive taste in colors.
Here is the one for you … Colorful
That's way too saturated mb, ;^) Just kidding, is this your backyard? I love those clouds.
First time posting here; I took this in a nursery, when my family went to buy some flowers. Hope this works...

It looks the best in Safari, or any other colour managed browser.
Welcome to the forum rhodium and thanks for posting a photo. I really like the colors. It looks great on my monitor and browser.
@mb, could you elaborate on my "distinctive taste in colours", this isn't what I consciously think about and it would be good to know especially after reading "Developing Vision and Style: A Masterclass in Landscape Photography illustrated edition".
