D7000 Focus Point off-centre in M, A, S and P modes???

I search forums and haven't seen this elsewhere yet:

Lately the focus point of my D7K seems to be stuck off-centre to the left of centre. This is the case in manual and all of the various autofocus modes.
However it seems to work normally in all the other modes (Auto, Scene, U1 and U2)
I have tried to reset the camera by removing the batery and SD card. I have format my SD cards. I have load the latest firmware update. But nothing I do seems to fix the problem
Has anybody else experienced similar problems, or have any ideas about what else to try?
I am not close to any dealers to have them check out the camera.

Appreciate your inputs.

I don't have a D7000, and I know I have set my camera to do this, but have you tried (presuming the D7000 has one) pressing the button in the centre of the rocker dial on the back? This resets the active focus point to the centre for me. Also pressing the dial up/down/left/right should move the focus point, does it? I'm sure if you re-check your settings in the CSM menu, you'll find that you've adjusted something.

There are plenty of D7000 owners here, I'm sure one of them (probably several) will respond with the actual menu item shortly.

SkinBrit is right. Make sure that in your Custom Setting Menu ; (f) Controls ; (f2) OK button (shooting mode) that you have RESET selected. So when you press OK in the center of the multi-directional dial your focus point pops back to center. If it's already set to "RESET" and it stays off to one side when you press OK then I don't know. Hope this helps.
