Ha...your wife might need to talk to my wife then because two D800's would most certainly mean my death ;-)

We should start a "Nikon Rumors Spouse Support Forum," where a distraught wife/husband could go to vent. I think I'd post there under a pseudonym like mamabear1979 and say things like

"I just tell myself that my husband could be into drugs or fast italian cars or something like that! I guess photography actually is a pretty safe, healthy, and relatively inexpensive hobby. I think I'll go tell my husband to buy that lens he was looking at yesterday!"

    or

"I just see my kids growing up so fast and wish I could get my husband to spend a little more on ways to document how cute they are!!!

I used to think that I was fooling my wife. She never seemed to know anything about lenses except that they're black and have glass on each end. Now I'm not so sure. Sometimes I think that every time she sees a gold box in my office she goes clothes shopping.

    I'm probably going to get a D600 body(might have to wait a little). I have my D200 & will keep it till it dies. I was @ B&H yesterday,getting a Lensbaby & while I was waiting I got to handle a D800 w 200 f2.IT WAS HEAVEN!,sadly I had to hand it back....

Lol Jonny. I actually do think I have her convinced to let me get a new body when they are released. It might help that my sister in law asked for a large print of one of my pictures for her birthday and then posted on facebook about me being a talented photographer ;)

As for the D600...I am still on the fence. For some reason I am not excited about it at all :-( The price is really the only thing drawing me to it, but for some reason I am not excited about the D800 either...I don't think I need one and can't afford one. I guess I will have to see how the D600 performs...I won't be preordering one at least.

I'll assume that I'm not the only one who schedules UPS deliveries from B&H on my wife's day to work???? :~ ]
