anyone help, having problems with forum when i login all is well but every time i change to a new post page im logged out again and have to log back in this keeps going on over and over again never had a problem before.
using firefox 12 any ideas??

See if clearing you cache works. It did for me.

Don't use your back button. That will sometimes load your cache which shows you're logged out rather than keeping you logged in.

When it asks you to log in, try pressing F5.

Same problem here with Safari, same fix as above, but a slight variation: whenever you notice you are not logged in, click reload. You are looking at a cached page rather than downloading the current (logged in) page.

Its not a cookie issue.
I'm a web programmer by trade.
Its likely a cache thing, but it could be fixable from a code/server perspective.
Basically its definitely a cache thing. And there are ways to get it to be fixed..
the problem is the fact that the initial login page is /forum/
you need to tell the browser to not cache the page. This is definitely doable, though I have never used this particular BB software, I dont think it would be that difficult to put in.(I'm contactable via PM, if you would like some help)

When this happens with me, I simply reload the page and it is solved. So, this would suggest it is a cache issue... but, remember, this is from someone who grew up with telephones where we told the operator our number...

When i first started out on this Forum, i had exactly the same thing...
Then i allowed NikonRumours.com to use cookies, and the problem was instantly solved..
Just tried it : switched the setting for cookies to "blocked" and the efect is back ... so in my environment it is a "cookie thing" ..
