Don't know if anyone else has had this problem or not, but I picked up my d300s yesterday. Today I was playing with it, swapping out lenses, and all of a sudden they wouldn't autofocus, the exposure mode was flashing, and the aperture wouldn't adjust from the camera. These are all new Nikon D lenses and 1 DX zoom. I concluded that something in the af/cpu ring was wrong. Either it wasn't seating properly or it was loose. I took all my lenses over to a friend's house and put them on his D80 to make sure I wasn't going insane and they all worked perfectly there, so I had to take the d300s back to Best Buy and have them order me another one (needed that 18 months financing to get it, otherwise would've used Adorama or B&H).
Just a heads up in case anyone runs into a similar problem.
