    Hi,

Master Sargent Jeremy Lock, US Air Force. See his work at:

    http://www.dinfos.dma.mil/events/viap/index_viap.aspx#

under Military Photographer of the Year.

There are other great photos on the page, too.

    My best,

    Mike

Thanks, Mike. Awesome stuff. I also enjoyed the jargon on the right side of the screen:
VISION ID's must be used in all VIRINs and MILPHOG Picture Story file naming. DO NOT use SSN VIRIN format. MILPHOG SOP is corrected (ref: p. 16, "File Naming," para. XIII.B.1.b.)

    It's...the military. ;-)

You didn't happen to know Horst Faas from the Vietnam War, did you? I saw an article this week that he had passed away. He had some powerful images.

    Hi Jonnyapple,

I knew Horst only slightly from Saigon days. I worked for the Army then. I worked for the AP here in the states later. I taught classes for the US Air Force photographers for Photoshop.

    My best,

    Mike

Just curious, who officially "owns" the photos?

    Hi,

Unless there have been changes since I was a photographer, they are DoD photographs.

    My best,

    Mike
