Are any other D800 owners having the Autofocus problem referred to in the below link? Briefly it's were an image is not in focus when using the far left focus point, but if you take the same photo using the far right or center focus point the image is in focus. The seems to happen only with 50mm and wider lenses. When I tested my D800 I focused on a bookshelf the was parallel to the camera, so that the books were the same distance to either side focus point.

Mine is having that same problem, and I discovered it shooting a bridal session. Nikon so far has been of no help whatsoever. I know things happen but this leaves a bitter taste in my mouth about Nikon, this is my first Nikon after switching over from Canon.
I've contacted Nikon, but am having trouble sending them examples because the files are too large. If I resize them using Photoshop it strips some data they need so they asked me to use only a Nikon program (Nikon ViewNX 2) to edit the images but even then when I resize the photos in NX 2 it doesn't show which focus point was used when taking the image after the conversion.
