@Peely22 - nice capture, where is that? Love little roads winding through the forest.
@zhinsara - really brings you into the moment
@msmoto - Canon gear looks better through Nikon glass :P

@El Pickerel, it on a backroad in South Wales, near Pantygasseg. Had to stick the car in reverse when I saw those trees :)

@Peely22.... that is a nice shot on the previous page. I shoot with a D90 and find it is an excellent camera. Welcome to NRF!

@msmoto - Thank you! My D90 is a bit beaten up at the moment, which is what's bringing me here to NRF. So keen to move up a gear, but the leap from D90 upwards is either to small (D300s) or too big (D800), so I check in here everyday looking for D400 news, lol :)

    Super nice photos everyone!
@Peely22 - other than desaturation on the above photo, did you manually process it to bring out details and shadows or is it done by a program such as one by Nik or Topaz? Thanks.

yes, desaturated it, and simple levels adjusts in LR from RAW. ( I do love this one, but my only regret was that I took it whilst walking past!)
(oh, and one small confession, I added the catchlight in the eye :) )

Elvishefer, I really like that effect. I usually shoot my 10stop ND alone but would like to try it with the CPOL next time. Really like the contrast between the horizon and the tree stump.

Thanks a lot, Andrewz. My kids now want a camel instead of a dog!
