For this week, I am going to share a series of flower shots taken at the Keukenhof Gardens outside of Amsterdam. Only open for spring months, they have truly amazing amount of beautiful flowers. Highly recommend it to anyone, regardless of whether you are a photographer or not-it is a spectacle to see.

@Juergen Ever so slightly fancier looking than the dancing I do... but were they any good? They were not dancing actually, it was a musical performance, and yes, they were good.
Even if one is not a fan of classical music, seeing it life, is quite an experience. Here is another pic:

...14-24mm @ 14mm ... 12 image panoThat is gorgeous. I did not think this even possible; doesn't 14mm warp make it impossible to stich? You did a horizontal sweep? Please tell me how you did it. I have been thinking about the 14-24 for a long time and I think I am getting one this weekend, just based on that photo.

Personally, I feel drawn into the scene and the sky actually looks like it's above me.
Long story short, within the past month I borrowed a friend's Nikon 70-200mm VR2 which I had to give back, and bought the Nikon 14-24mm on credit card and returned it after realizing it was a financial mistake. (YES! for about 2 weeks I had the holy trinity). Between the two, the one I wish I could get back would be the 14-24mm. Loved the feel, look, and contrasty images it produced with little to no distortion. Maybe someday...Posted 11 months ago # -

Cole, I fixed your post so the picture would show up. Here is the way the forum software wants your code:
<img src="http://i46.tinypic.com/344v5ea.jpg" />BTW, fun image and I love that camera/lens combination. My 17-50 rarely comes off of my D7000.
Squamish, I love your landscape panos. Did you say whether you do any HDR with them?

Here is my Fake IR, ha, ha, ha
@Cole.... love that water shot. I will try some in a month or so with a soft case...
And TTJ....you have made my case about my lack of use of HDR. LR4 seems to offer the tools to do it all, or nearly so. Great shot!

Pierre, go for it, truly amazing lens that adds a lot of drama while retaining straight lines. Very nice wide angle zoom..

Shot from a hike north of Reykjavik. One of the reasons I really like the 16-35 VR is handheld exposures of up to 2 seconds, if you can lean against something or take a knee or you have calm weather.

You can upload the image to Flickr at full size, then in the "share" drop down menu pull off the 800 pX size to post here. This will allow folks to go to the Flickr image by simply clicking on your posted image and eventually see it a full size. Which is a lot of fun with the super images posted.
