Some fab pics on page 24!
I've tried replying, but something funny keeps happening. When I go to post it tells me to log in; when I log in, it takes me to page 1, when I go to page 25, I get asked to log in!?
Managed to break the cycle, I think.Posted 11 months ago # -

Stunning work each and all. I really enjoy coming to this PAD, I know I learn a great deal.
Here is my contribution for today from a Hot Air Ballon event that did not happend due to winds not cooperating with the pilots. They did take out a basket for our enjoyment.
These baskets are held to the balloon by 4 simple pins the best I could tell. Ignorance is bless :)

Awesome picture and indeed she's a lovely lady.
Saying that, I got one I'll post tomorrow of a lovely lady from the rock fest. I'll have to blank out a certain area of the picture but she truly caught my heart as she was trying to get the attention of the band. :)
I think instead I'll just post the link to my shots of the fest in the rock thread. She's the last picture and that way it won't turn PAD into silly stuff.

Msmoto, I really do like the "noise" that your D4 produces at high ISO. It's so uniform that it looks good. Did you do any adjusting or is that pretty much straight out of camera? Not to mention sharpness...looking at the cheek line against the hair....Wow!

He! That's my bird corelli...

Corelli, you got him well. Heron's are one of my favorite birds to shoot (with a camera), but often skittish.

@Rx4Photo..... on the headshot above at ISO 20,000....no noise reduction, BUT, on all of the shots of women, we stick together, ha, ha, ha.... I do some softening of certain areas to reduce skin imperfections. This reduces noise in some areas I think.
@Beso... YES! My second car was a 1958 356A 1600N Coupe my Daddy bought me in 1960! Was driving it when I attended Layton School of Art in Milwaukee in 1965.
Oh, I guess a shot of something old....

Is it Summer yet? Went to the beach and walked upon an early morning practice session for this crew. They only spoke Portuguese so I deduced that they were most likely Brazilian. Very professional in their style of play so I figured they're used to a little attention.

This was my favorite car from a car show this weekend. Not sure what year this Studebaker is, probably 1953 or 1954.

@Juergen Ever so slightly fancier looking than the dancing I do... but were they any good?
The approach to that place I was hiking

Passed this one 2 hours ago, I have a major crush on hawthorns... but unfortunately I can't give you the wonderful scent.
