This was one lens I drooled to have for the Nikon that Canon had. Id love for a updated wide angle tilt shift lens from nikon! Im sure it will be pretty expensive too.

http://nikonrumors.com/forum/topic.php?id=5507I have put the question to NIKON regarding the actual circle of coverage for the PC24mm lens. It must be close to 70mm in diameter if it covers a horizontal shift of 11.5mm either direction.... we will see. The 17mm sounds like a $3500-$5000 piece of glass.

It is only a gap if you are comparing Nikon and Canon's lineup. Nobody else has a 17mm TS (in fact I know 2 sony pros who are still complaining that sony has none on their list)
I don't deny being stocked to get a superwide TS but an aspherical wider than 14mm is a dream of mine. I have a 10.5mm and love it to death but it is still a fisheye (Pshops distortion tool isn't enough). Also my 14-24mm is wider on a fx body than the 10.5mm is on dx. Maybe Ill try your trick MsMoto :)
I am waiting for a 6mm f2.8 G too (never going to happe,n but I can dream can't I?)
I would probably buy both in a heartbeat if I had $6000 laying around (and they actually bothered to make them). Canons 17mm TS is their only impressive wide angle lens that isnt a fisheye

@kyoshinikon.... we dream alike.... I rather like to use extreme wide angle and keep things in some sort of level perspective so the center appears fairly "normal" and only the edges go berserk.
Kinda like this:
But, I think my next acquisition, once I sell my 80-400mm, is the PC 24mm... just too much fun!
