How can i mount my nikon D7000 as drive and be visible on desktop on my mac? I want to be able to write back to the nikons sdcard most of my pictures to have it as a backup
mount my D7000 as a drive on OSX 10.5.8

The D7000 and most newer Nikon's will not allow this. If you want to do that remove the card from the camera and put it into a card reader.
