Self explanatory, I hope. :D
A bit of a change from all the Nikons we hear about. People sometimes mention they weren't always using Nikon from the very beginning.
In part though, I'm also posting because I'd like to know if anyone has used Mamiya 35mm cameras. My uncle gave me one a week ago, a DSX 1000, and I was wondering if anyone had any extra information, such as quirks and stuff about it. I downloaded the manual already.
Besides the D40, the FM2, and the Nikon Coolpix 3700, my father also owns 2 Nikon point and shoot 35mm cameras and a Sony T series digital camera from a couple years back. One of the Nikon point and shoot 35mm cameras, the older of the two, I busted the flash. I don't remember the model numbers off the top of my head though. I don't think they're all too significant though.
The Sony's a weird one, my uncle brought it over from Hong Kong new, but forgot to check the firmware- it's completely in Japanese and we can't seem to navigate through the menu to set it back to English. My dad now has adjusted quite well to the Japanese lettering though by now, although I refuse to touch the camera with a 10 foot pole because of the odd feature unless I really need to.
