Two weeks ago i initiated a deal with CrazySales regarding a nikkor 14-24 lens, a week later i noticed that the item was no longer listed on their site, concerned about the availibility of mine i emailed them and was told not to worry someone had checked and there was one reserved for me, next day i was told that the item was out of stock and i would be refunded 'shortly', i tried communicating with them via the live chat feature but was ignored and the question was deleted, so i googled their name + problems and found quite a few consumer forums with angry folk posting stuff, so i put together a community facebook page titled CrazySales-Fraudsters, got some friends to like it and post some stuff, next email i sent to them contained a link to the page, within 5 minutes the 2000aud was in my paypal account, was great, hope this helps, cheers

Thanx for the warning Kidraver.
>> CrazySales .... :-) <<
Srry, but i would not trust a dealer with a name like that, especially without "googling" extensively to check the reputation of such a company....

Having lost over a thousand US Dollars to online dealers for various merchandise, I have the habit of Googling the address or company name along with "reviews" and search out all the negative reports. Also, I find the physical location on the mapping software and actually look at the building. Sometimes the building is nothing more than a house some place or a very small office. In any case, where I lost was with companies which sent the wrong product but had no customer service and denied they had done wrong. Also Fed EX was absolutely worthless in working on returning items as they broke stuff and denied this as well.
So, UPS, and reliable companies. I lot of "really good prices" are seen out they're, but what I have found is by dealing exclusively with B & H, I have actually saved money because I do not get screwed and when something is incorrect it is taken care of instantly.

Yea, i have ordered the D800e body thru a local shop, not gonna save any money getting from america as the gst would make it more exy, and am happy i have the support that buying from a shop gives, thanks msmoto and DutchNikon, hope your words save some poor fool a lot of anguish.

I only use B&H or Adorama or my local store, no matter how good the deal.
