Hi, is there a way or a combination of controls that I could apply to change the F-stops with the Live view window opened in Manual mode as I do when I change the ISO, press the Iso button(+)rolling the Main Command dial.....?
Thanks
How can I change the F-stops with the Live view window opened in M

Hi,
In the D7000, if the Movie settings, Manual movie settings are set to 'On' the M Mode F stops don't work like that.
You'll need to turn the Manual Movie settings to 'Off' to retain F stops and Shutter speeds in still functions in M mode.
My best,
Mike

Gsoh, I was wondering which camera. On the D4 in "M" in live view, ISO Auto, changing the f/stop is simply rotating the front (Sub-command) dial. The f/stops change. This is with a "G" lens. In this case the AF-S NIKKOR 16-35mm f/4G ED VR.
Also works with an old AF NIKKOR 28-85mm f/3.5-4.5. You know, the kind where it moves all around when it does its focus thing.
In the movie setting, the numbers on the top info panel show the f/stop changing as well when the sub-command dial is moved.
Is this a new thing?
But, remember..... I do not even take movies.....yet. I was looking at all the different adjustments and thought.... I think I will wait awhile.....
