If you use B&H, you know Jewish holidays is standard procedure for them.

Not sure I would cancel as you lose your place if you preordered. I don't think at this point you are going to find one any sooner as many are still waiting for theirs as well. I think you only hope is going to be stumbling across one in a store, but I find that highly unlikely.

rondaley - first of don't be a baby, a lot of ppl cancelled their preorders and went to search for the camera locally - hint: best buy; second of all their's already an opened thread for orders, and use that one: http://nikonrumors.com/forum/topic.php?id=5297
