Welcome.... I have never done that so I can say nothing.... but like almost everything I do, after about fifty trials, and one of these is the way I like it, I have one success and forty nine I know I do not need to try again. I kinda like the star trails. Look forward to seeing more. and Welcome to NRF, PAD

And to the "Outer Banks of NC" welcome to some beautiful space....grab a sunrise. i am a couple hundred miles to your west in Greensboro.

And as far as stepping out the front door of the RV....love it! Will be doing this soon myself.

Boemboem, good first attempt. It took me many times to get the startrails thingy going, in terms of the technical aspects. Its always good to have, I feel, something in the foreground of the startrail, and I like what you did. You might try 30sec exposures to give you a bit longer trail. Hoping to see more.

I am so in awe of the great work here. Pierre, yes. and jeri... wow! Of course these water shots are so nice, especially with summer coming... About all I have is one Nathan commented on elsewhere, so.... another from Atlanta.... I think I like this B & W stuff.

Got back from street shooting the Bersih 3.0 protests in Malaysia. It was peaceful till abt 3pm, then all hell broke loose. Speculation is that agents provacateur broke through some barricades, prompting the police to start with riot control techniques. Luckily left 15 mins before all hell broke loose.

D4 24-70, no pp. Like the colours.

Took the advise of some of you and got myself the 105 micro VR. Can't wait to try it out.

Thanks! I was quite happy that the heron was finding fish to prey on in the parts of the pond where the reflections were. And I wasn't quite on my belly, but pretty damn close. I really liked your egret a few pages back. Or is it a crane? Either way the bokeh is really pleasant and the light is excellent.

@Bland...BINGO! You know I love these car photos and the wheelies are difficult to capture... really nice.

@Pierre...Macros, WOW, you and Juergen are hitting hard!

Everyone is doing some nice work. And it must be car day.... I think about this and see if I can find something to stick up here..
