@Regulator75 I like the confrontation of yellow and blue. I like the composition. Perhaps (maybe not :D) increasing the DOF and bringing it forward a bit to make the diagonal branches might improve it a bit. On the other hand, at the moment the shot is really drawing the eyes to the sharp smaller branches.
@mg I do hope for your sake that the colours become a lot more accentuated.
On Monday I will be going on a phototrip to Lapland (hence the reason for my 1 week absence) and it looks mighty promising and hopefully we will also get good weather to realize the shots. I hope to share a lot of the Nordic autumn with you folks!

My wife, camera, and dog don't like that idea for me though :^(
