I decided to photodocument some of the protests going on right now in front of the UN HQ building in NYC. Tomorrow I will be attending the rally against Iran's gov't. so I should have some more photos.

Get some unflattering pictures of Moammar Gadhafi in his Trump Tent !
Edit: And STAY SAFE Poster. Things could get ugly with the protesters and riot police. Keep both eyes open even when your looking through the viewfinder. Watch for warning signs of trouble, but usually things just happen quickly so stay on your toes.

So we've got active dogs and sleepy dogs on this page. Morley looks like he's had a long day Regulator75.

If he would set up his tent somewhere in NYC limits I would try see what the hell is going on there. But I don't have the means to go to the suburbs that he set it up. But today I got myself to the small welcoming rally for him. the whole rally smelt of feminine perfumes and was full of hairy and sweaty dudes. It was like a Tom of Finland fan rally. I had to get out of there pronto.
EDIT:
Waits until somebody googles Tom of Finland lol

Thanks. Yeah might get ugly pretty fast. But I don't think that it will come to a riot or anything violent for that matter. I will certainly watch out for civilian dressed secret service of Ahmadanajih. Never know what might happen. Afterall it's a mob of people. And people are like sheep. All it takes is one person to do something stupid, next thing you know all of hte people are doing the same.

Um OK poster thanks for THAT mental picture.(Tom of Finland)

Hey on a second thought it would be pretty hilarious to see a mob of Tom of Finland dressed look alikes protesting against Iran's Ahmadinijin, maybe next time he wouldn't come at all. lol Unless he's into that sort of thing. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I don't really have a clue what was the purpose that these men stood in line for so long. Was it to see the King of Kings of Africa? Perhaps. I don't even know whether "The king" was in that location. I do in fact know that there was a small welcoming party of fans of "the King". I was in the midst of that group of fans but I didn't see the "Brother Qadaffi" as some of those people reffered to him, so it's even more perplexing to me why did these men in suits stood there. I don't know maybe I missed something.
FYI- I am not a supporter or a fan of Qadaffi, just so we are clear.
I had too much work to attend the Iranian rally. So sadly no pics from me from that event.

Gentoo, it sort of looks like a tourist snapshot of the volcano ... must be the lamp posts.
If you can drive up there, as far as I remember (was only 13 then) the road there is really nice and some great shots await you :)Posted 3 years ago # -
monty: That's pretty much what it was. I has no car so getting up there wasn't possible. I wish I could have though just to get a more clear view of it. I like it all the same because I don't see volcanoes very often lol
