Now that Sony can market a FF camera at $ 2000.00 US I think that Nikon should offer something better:
A D90 Size FX camera, either 12 or 24MP, 3 frames/sec, same focus and other settings that are found on the D90 but it should be able to meter older lenses.
I think there is no point in downgrading a D700, I would rather have the choice of a smaller FX body, a smaller FX body would also do less harm to the sales of larger FX bodies

Just got the cost to fix my 70-200 2.8 lens, wow $ 400.00 to repair the zoom ring which got dented from the impact. Anyway should have it back in couple of weeks
