I was glad to see the price drop for the D700 in the US especially, but here in the GWN Amazon.ca has boosted their price to unheard of levels (CDN$ 2,814.95)
, and *LINK REMOVED* has removed a $200 discount bumping their price up to close to list.

Buyer beware! And don't forget that today only, the Cdn $ is worth MORE THAN the US$ . . .

D700 has been $2250 up here since before Christmas. You just have to know where to look or use an aggregator like Photoprice.ca
Remember before the Yen rallied against the $ and you could buy a D700 for about $2300 a couple years ago. Should have got one and left it in the box for 6 months lol.
I will sell you mine for $2300 and you can save the tax, it has 19K clicks only, pristine condition, who say you cannot find in Canada?
Funny enough, last week the D800 was announced at $3149 CAD and now its back at $2999 CAD so someone may have came to their senses.
In my local store, the D700 is at $2399.99 but they don't have in stock.
