I do not have any underwater, snow, or any bugs, or what ever..... but one of Hackleburg, Alabama, last year after an EF-5 tornado destroyed the town.

I swear I'm going to start putting up shots from my new-to-me 16-35mm f/4 once I get a chance to really use the darn thing! Also, a third person is getting the 24mm f/1.4 because of me! I wish Nikon would kick some of that back at me. Though when I walk the Appalachian Trail next year and do a photodocumentary thing of the whole trip, I'm certainly going to see if Nikon or anyone else wants to sponsor me in any way. :)

Pierre, thanks.
Msmoto, I look forward to your photos, even if there is no snow in them.
This is perhaps my last snow scene of the winter.

^^ Wow, Yetibuddha and Treckie, your photos are strikingly similar yet totally different. Both equally beautiful.
Msmoto, my home state (AL) took a real beating last year. Hope this year is not as bad.Posted 1 year ago # -

when I walk the Appalachian Trail next year and ....First, incredible snow, guys....This is always a place where some of the finest work can be seen.
El_Pickelel... if you walk the trail.... If you want, maybe I can get some shots of you doing this.... We never do our own stuff. Logistics would need to be worked out, but some long shots may be nice. Of course, an assumption of accessibility for me is made.

Sitting here reminiscing about last years vacation in Trinidad, West Indies - my wife's country of origin. Here's a stadium (criquet/soccer) that I shot as my bro-in-law drove by. D7000 ; Nikkor 35mm lens ; ISO 1600 ; f/8.0 ; 1/400 sec.

Saturday was my father's 91st birthday. In addition to taking him to the Florida Aquarium, we always treat him to a birthday lobster dinner. I liked this shot of him drinking a beer........

Re: Alabama.... Hackleburg..... I was there about four days after it had hit. Between that and Gulf Port, 46 days after Katrina, I think I have an appreciation of what the weather can do.....

Thanks for the kind words, Yeti you are correct on the location. I just returned from a trip to the North shore of lake Superior. I finally have had my winter experience for the year. Pictures to follow. Not much of the blue skies like yours though. It was snowing fairly hard (16") most of the day. Still a great day to be out.

Well, I thought about a Tarana shot, and a couple are on Flicker. But this one from Digby, Nova Scotia with its 25 foot tides, somehow seemed the one to stick out here today. And, this was on a motorcycle trip with my son, about a 6500 Km round trip. And Treckie, we had gone around Superior the year before... beautiful country, Canada...
