As anybody found a good software for editing video taken on the V1 . Most of the big names like FCP X and Adobe Premier Pro CS5 don't seem to recognise the file format and the one supplied with the camera is too basic I am using a Mac on Lion
When played direct through HDMI it is smooth and the quality is truly excellent Any help would be grateful

I think there are converters out ther eto convert the file to .mov for FCP.
since links are frowned upon here, google "Final Cut Nikon v1", and you will get a list.
I dont own a V1, but i love Final Cut.
I dont know what youd lose by converting, but if the loss isnt bad, i think that'd be your best bet.

Happy to report that FCP X latest update 10 04 now makes the V1/J1 acceptable, so no need to buy any converters Apple FCP X does everything,
