You folks keep putting up such great photos, I thought I would throw one up from a long time ago... actually I sort of cheated and just shot this on my kitchen table. Ha, ha, ha. It is an F with Photomic finder, and f/2 35mm Nikkor O Auto sitting on a Leitz table top tripod from the '60's although the head is a modern Manfrotto. Lighting was a SB-800 into a white umbrella with some other reflectors. Processed in Lightroom 3. Exposure 1/60 f/14 using D90, an old AF Nikkor 28-85mm 1:3.5-4.5. Here ya are:

Nice winter scene Yeti, makes me want to run and play in it. Our winter has been non-existent this year.

Our place in France (-14 degrees C that day (about 7F in old money)).
The last picture I ever took with the day/date on it (new camera & first Nikon)!

Thank you trekkie. Not much of a winter in the valley. A good winter up in the mountains.

Thank you SquamishPhoto, and by the way, the cost of that F PhotomicT with an 85 f/1.8 (not the 35 f/2 on it) in today's US Dollars.... about $2900.... and the meter was virtually useless. A Gossen Luna Pro was always used instead.

Below, sth that I don't shoot usually. It's the national stadium in Warsaw, was opened recently in preparation for Euro 2012. The shot is a 3 image HDR. The longest exposure is 13 seconds. Taken across the vistula river. ISO 200, 50mm/1.8@f8.0, d3s.

Haven't shot much with my Sigma 50mm f/1.4 lately, so I decided to use it to shoot my nephew's birthday party today.

Well Skintbrit, I think the ones and zero's in my image are significantly different from those in yours. And I probably used a different camera than you. Also, the sun was probably in a different position, and the snowflakes were probably different as well. So there! Try to sue, all I have is my trusty D700 and D7000 and no expensive lenses!

Great shot, bland. If it weren't for the slightly more modern mic in her hand I would've thought that was taken in the 60's. :]

Used a manual, AI-modified Zoom-Nikkor 50-300mm f/4.5 (not even the ED version) to shoot dance photos since I left my usual lenses at work. It was... interesting. At least the lens resolves so poorly I could have pushed the ISO to 6400 if I wanted.
D7000 - 50-300mm f/4.5 - probably 150mm - f/4.5 - ISO 2000 - 1/200sec

Thanks SquamishPhoto, Mary Wilson sounded as if she was still in the 60's with The Surpremes last night. Fun shoot, lovely lady!

Nice winter scene yetibudha. I like your exploration Treckie. I like that portrait of your Rifqi. Beautiful butterfly. So many nice shots, all deserving good comments.

Last Saturday, when shooting in the mountain. A few days earlier, there was a huge windy storm that left sculpture everywhere. I took about 400 shots and I find them all amazing. I will be sharing a few with you.
I had a polarizer filter and the day was so bright, it left the sky almost black. This is pretty much as shot. In the left bottom part of the sky, you see jpeg like banding; it is actually a series of very tenuous layers of clouds. During the storm, the wind was blowing from behind the trees and left huge horizontal ice and densely packed snow cristals.
