I'm holding off on pulling the trigger on getting a FF camera because of the rumors of the release of the D800. I was about to purchase a Nikon D700 2 weeks ago when I came across all the speculation about the D800 release on the 7th of February. So I'm waiting to see the specs of the D800 when they are officially announced.
Currently can purchase a new D700 for $2166 from an unnamed Hong Kong Dealer... I wonder if this price will go up or down at the end of February/beginning of March.
Thoughts ?
