I posted a topic about the price of the D3s new a few days ago and everybody seems to think that it won't drop anytime soon. Probable senario will be that every new D3s that is left in stock will sell for its actual price and disappear.
I said that I wasn't much interested in buying a used D3s because I was affraid not to have the warranty on an expensive body, but yesterday I came accros an offer (I live in Switzerland and the offer is on a website of local classifieds) for a used D3s with warranty (I don't know until when) and only 3900 actuations for about 4000$.
So my question is: what will a used D3s sell for in 2 years ? What happens to used prices of flagship models once their successor comes out? Will I be able to sell it for 3000$ in 2 years if it's still in excellent condition ?
