Saw this today on a photo walk. Immediately thought of the D4.

For those of you who haven't already added this book to your library, I suggest you do so right now. There's a ton of good stuff to teach and inspire you. In honour of McNally I used as many flashes as I could to light his book :p

@Rifqi - McNally, along with Hobby are major inspirations for me right now. After I finish Hot Shoe Diaries I'll be buying Sketching Light!

Pushing my D7000 to the limit, shooting at iso 5000 and 6400 the whole night! Terrible light, but the D7k didn't let me down.Posted 1 year ago # -
That's amazing Mr.Henry.......When the D7K replacement comes out this year, I'm so getting one.....

Mr.HenryG.....did you have much noise? Great shot!Considering I was shooting 5000 and 6400, I think the noise was handled really well. Did not even do much noise reduction in post, I felt it was making everything look too soft. But to answer your question yes, there is noise but you have to zoom in and pixel peep to really notice.

Yeah, if I can get proper exposure / slight overexposure I'm comfortable shooting my D7000 up to ISO 6400.

rx4photo, they're definitely both very inspiring and after reading Sketching light I just wanted to go out and shoot something. Here's another bug.
