@caplinger ; the thing I like about that photo is that you captured a "fraction of a second" position of that egret that we probably would never have noticed in motion.
Here, I'm revisiting a photo I took last year in Trinidad adding a HDR twist.

Welcome Caplinger.....I love the Egret Shot!!
RX4 - The HDR really shows off what HDR can do to an image!

@caplinger - At first I thought the wing position of the egret made the shot. Then I saw the reflection, which makes it even better. Perhaps it could benefit from a tighter crop, to really tighten up on the bird/reflection? Either way, I like it.

The little one, riding her new lion. Not entirely happy with it but at least it has cuteness going for it.

Time for another bug. This guy was huge, he could probably have picked me up and flown away with me, had he wanted to.

It's starting to get cold around here, so I thought a picture of a forest fire (not really) would help give everyone warm thoughts.

Msmoto - I do like the symmetry of that fisheye shot.

A particularly bad season for babies in trees where I live. I put up some netting around the house, but my neighbor has a feeder so there's not much I can do.
