Missed this earlier .. Yeah very interesting .. I wonder what photo sensitive material was used ...
Wonder what ISO sensitivity it was !! may be ISO 2 ??

I was wondering the same thing. Perhaps he stuck a filter over it to darken everything a lot.

Also, anyone want to venture a guess at what is causing the really thick dark bands? Prolonged period of cloudiness perhaps?
