Last Fall foliage:
Maybe I am just too old to figure this out, but, how exactly do I post a photo from my Macbook to this forum? Old folks need very clear directions, so if anyone can help, thanks much. And Happy Holidays,
Ms. Tommie Lauer

First you need an account with one of the online photo services (e.g. flickr). You cannot upload images directly to the forum.
Then you upload images to your flickr (or whatever service you choose) account. In flickr you select the image you want to share and select the "Share with others". From the options choose HTML/BBCode. It is a long string. Copy that and past it here.
That should be it.
Hope this helps
Ok, I'm inspired by the Christmas pictures you guys are posting so here's mine, somewhat in the spirit of NSX's bokeh shot.
Taken with a 135 DC with the DC turned all the way to the "wrong" end.
One of the few photos that ISN'T folk dancing (but it was on the way to one) - firing across the Delaware River at Milford, NJ
D7000 - 50mm/f1.8D - f/4 - ISO 100 - 1/1600sec
Merry Christmas All.......My first shot with my present (AFS DX Micro 40mm F/2.8).....
D5100 AFS DX Micro 40mm f/2.8 1/60 F/3 ISO 500
Dutt561- Were you vacationing in NYC or do you live there? I like how you processed it- the 3 shoot bracketing if overcooked can be very weird.
Jerl- Haha, the 135 DC would be a bokeh master! Look at those perfectly round circles!
msmoto- that does not look like a good Christmas present!
rbrylawski- what are your thoughts on the 40mm? Does the barrel extend when it focuses?
Cool shots everyone!
No bugs to shoot. But there are lots of other things to shoot...
Nikkor 105mm Macro
Just curious, any other members here that like Lego?
NSX......So far I'm very pleased with the 40mm Micro. Yes, the barrel does extend when you focus and I've discovered that it can cause me to create a shadow when I'm directly over something, but for the money, it's quite a bargain.
Nice work everyone closing out 2011! Some wonderful images again this month lets keep em rolling in 2012 :)
NSXType-R - I live in Rockland County, which is a suburb in New York that is approximately an hour train ride from the city. To answer your question if anyone else likes Lego, see below:
